About the Role
Onterris is seeking a Principal Environmental Scientist to join our Assessment and Approvals team in Sydney. This role involves managing a full range of activities, including growing and mentoring the team, business development, client meetings, project management, and quality management systems.
Responsibilities
- Being a pivotal part of growing and mentoring the Sydney Approvals team
- Performing business development by bringing in new clients to the business
- Presenting and leading external meetings with clients
- Successfully managing multiple projects at any one time
- Developing and reviewing quality management systems
Requirements
- 20+ years of professional experience, with extensive experience in a consulting setting
- Extensive experience in regulatory approvals within New South Wales
- Experience in infrastructure and/or resource sector approval
- Proven experience with EIS, State and Commonwealth approvals
