About the Role
This leadership role is responsible for the administrative operations and front-of-house teams at the Prince of Wales Hospital campus clinic. You will lead a busy hospital imaging service with strong operational exposure, collaborating closely with radiologists, technologists, hospital departments, and research teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day medical reception tasks, including greeting and arriving patients, answering phone calls and emails, and booking appointments.
- Support a clerical team of up to 15 staff across medical reception.
- Plan and manage daily clerical staff rostering.
- Manage the clinic’s daily appointment schedule.
- Manage the clinic’s daily banking and other financial applications and requirements.
- Work closely with the Regional Manager, Chief Medical Imaging Technologist, and Radiologist/s.
Requirements
- People management and leadership experience.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
- Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
- Experience in COMRAD booking system and Microsoft Office is desirable.
- A background in radiology or healthcare would be very beneficial.
