About the Role
The Warehouse Specialist performs intermediate-level handling of receiving, checking, warehousing, and dispatching functions for finished goods.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-shipment inspection for accuracy.
- Manage goods receipt, put-away, order picking, order packing, order shipping, and order posting.
- Conduct cycle counting and general record keeping.
- Utilize automated shipping systems to process domestic orders.
- Reorder and maintain adequate levels of shipping supplies.
- Perform replenishment of inventories and shipping stations.
- Organize and maintain warehouse housekeeping.
- Schedule shipment pick-ups.
- Routinely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Operate a pallet jack.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse shipping and receiving practices.
- General mathematical skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow Company quality policy.
- Experience with inventory control systems and cycle counting.
- Must be able to routinely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Good communication and computer skills.
- Good housekeeping and record skills.
- Hands-on mentality.
- Prior warehousing experience.
- Technical background.
- Fluent in English.
