About the Role
AECOM is seeking an Associate Director Data Centre Mechanical Engineer to lead cutting-edge projects in Sydney, Australia. Responsibilities
- Oversee the mechanical design and engineering for data centre projects, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
- Keep abreast of industry advancements and incorporate innovative solutions into project designs.
Requirements
- Proven track record in mechanical engineering within the data centre sector, with a focus on design and project management.
- Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
- Professional engineering registration is a plus.
- Strong ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive project success.
- Experience working in or with data centre markets from prominent regions is highly desirable.
