About the Role
The Business Development Representative in the US Events Organization is a sales position focused on selling to C-Level Executives, Law Firm Partners, and General Counsel’s across the Law.com portfolio of Events. This role is salary plus uncapped commission and has an annual sales goal of approximately $850,000 - $1,000,000 with an average sale of $1K-$10K.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed revenue goals
- Manage the sales process from initial client contact through post-sale follow up
- Identify and engage with prospects through outbound sales efforts using Nooks AI power dialer
- Utilize SalesForce, Groove, and Salesloft tools to forecast, track and report sales activity
- Build relationships at all levels within client organizations
- Focus 60% on new clients and 40% on retaining existing accounts
Requirements
- 1-3 years of sales experience in Events
- Experience with Sales Enablement tools such as Nooks, Gong, Salesloft, Groove or Outreach
- Proven track record of achieving goals in a commission environment
- Understanding of the "End to End" Sales Process
- Experience in finding and selling to new accounts
- Ability to build and maintain effective and lasting relationships
