About the Role
We are building a platform that uses AI agents to take over operational decisions, aiming to bring AI to medium-sized businesses and make them future-proof. This role is crucial in transforming individual customer solutions into a self-scaling product, offering direct impact and significant responsibility within a small, agile team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Customer Development, managing relationships with 4-6 strategic design partners at CEO/COO level to validate product hypotheses.
- Steer engineering efforts through clear outcomes, not tickets.
- Define product strategy and platform development, including positioning, feature slicing, and packaging.
- Build the product backlog, monitor competition, develop demos bi-weekly, and decide which individual solutions become modules.
- Determine which features create real value and how individual customer requirements translate into a scalable product.
- Translate learnings from customer implementations directly into platform development.
- Iterate on solutions rapidly, with the distance between idea, implementation, and validation taking days, not months.
- Make critical decisions on whether a built solution is a clever hack for one customer or the core of a product for many.
Requirements
- Successfully brought a B2B product from zero to significant traction at least once, either as a Founding PM, Senior/Lead PM with Greenfield responsibility, or as a founder.
- Experience in cutting a resellable product from a consulting or service business, or a strong passion for this challenge.
- Applied discovery methods like Continuous Discovery, Jobs-to-be-Done, and Opportunity-Solution-Trees in real releases.
- Strong communication skills in German, capable of conversing clearly with both CEOs and developers.
- Understanding of technical possibilities, though coding proficiency is not required.
- Active use of AI tools in personal work, ideally including prototyping (e.g., Lovable, Claude Code, v0).
