About the Role

The Lead Facilities Performance Engineer monitors, analyzes, and improves the operational performance of airport facilities and built assets, ensuring reliable, efficient, and safe performance of terminal buildings and infrastructure. This role provides insights to support maintenance, investment, and operational decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Track and analyze performance of airport facilities, including availability, service interruptions, condition indicators, and failure trends.
  • Identify performance gaps affecting passenger experience, safety, or operational continuity.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime, improving reliability, and enhancing facilities effectiveness.
  • Support root-cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Assess the effectiveness of maintenance programs by reviewing work orders, response times, repeat failures, and service outcomes.
  • Recommend improvements to maintenance scope and scheduling.
  • Produce performance reports and dashboards for facilities assets, providing actionable insights to facilities management and airport operations leadership.
  • Serve as the technical performance interface between facilities teams, maintenance contractors, and airport operations stakeholders, ensuring that performance insights translate into operational improvement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in facilities engineering, performance monitoring, or infrastructure operations.
  • Experience working in large operational environments such as airports, transport hubs, or mixed-use complexes.
  • Exposure to performance reporting and maintenance optimisation.
