About the Role
This role is designed for attorneys with at least five years of securities litigation experience who are interested in playing a meaningful role in identifying and developing new matters at an early stage. You will work closely with our portfolio monitoring, data analytics, and litigation teams to evaluate potential claims on behalf of institutional investors. You will analyze market events, corporate disclosures, and financial data, and assess whether issuers have made materially misleading statements or omissions. The firm is looking for candidates who combine strong litigation experience with intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Attorneys who are adaptable, collaborative, and interested in leveraging new tools and approaches will be particularly well-positioned to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing earnings announcements, SEC filings, and analyst reports
- Analyzing stock price movements following corrective disclosures
- Developing preliminary loss causation and damages assessments
- Identifying and refining potential class periods
- Conducting targeted factual and legal research, including reviewing comparable enforcement actions and prior litigation
- Working with financial experts, investigators, and data specialists to evaluate liability theories
- Preparing internal memoranda, loss analyses, and client-facing summaries for institutional investors
- Contributing to team strategy and supporting the development of junior attorneys
Requirements
- At least five years of securities litigation experience
- Ability and willingness to incorporate technology and data-driven tools into your work
