About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Agile Delivery Management to be the architect of operational excellence. This role bridges the gap between high-level strategic vision and the tactical, everyday execution of our product teams. You will lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of program managers and agile practitioners, serving as the connective tissue across the organization to ensure every release delivers business value with speed and precision.
Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize an enterprise-wide Agile framework that aligns with long-term company goals and sets a new standard for the product portfolio.
- Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Program Managers, fostering a culture of radical transparency, relentless improvement, and operational discipline.
- Direct the optimization of delivery rituals (Scrum, Kanban, PI Planning), ensuring seamless flow from discovery to deployment through mature, data-driven methodology.
- Drive a continuous improvement culture through postmortems, retrospectives and accountable action tracking.
- Lead cross-functional coordination to uncover dependencies, manage risks, and ensure predictable release cycles across complex, interconnected product lines.
- Spearhead a culture of data-informed execution, utilizing velocity metrics, cycle time analysis, and flow efficiency to optimize delivery performance and business outcomes.
- Integrate cutting-edge tools into the delivery lifecycle to automate reporting, identify bottlenecks, and enhance forecasting accuracy.
- Work in lockstep with Product Management and Engineering leadership to balance speed-to-market with technical debt management and operational ROI.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Program Management, Engineering Operations, or Agile Delivery, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role scaling high-performance SaaS delivery teams.
- A track record of successful product delivery where you led the journey from abstract roadmap to high-impact, market-ready releases.
- Deep expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe (or similar scaling frameworks), alongside a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in leveraging quantitative data (velocity, burn-down, throughput) to drive high-conviction delivery decisions.
- The ability to navigate organizational complexity and communicate the business value of operational excellence to C-suite stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field required.
