About the Role

As a Track & OCS Technician, you are responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting assets on the guideway of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) line. This role involves working in an industrial/field environment, requiring physical demands and flexibility for 24/7 operations. Activities are performed in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Complying with and enforcing EHSS policies and rules
  • Carrying out all levels of examination and work arising on the line guideway
  • Maintenance of other assets including Tunnel ventilation, security system, and Pumps
  • Reporting activities (work orders/inspections) through a Computerized Maintenance Management system

Requirements

  • Experience as a track technician/knowledge of the rail environment desired
  • EHS champion and field expert
  • Ability to drive/operate machinery and heavy equipment
  • Flexibility and availability to work on 24/7 rotational shifts
  • Strong supporter of teamwork with good communication & computer skills
  • On-time resolution for incidents
  • Closure of all Work Orders with accurate information and on time
  • Ability to work with the Rail System Team in case of emergency or extreme weather to maintain line operation
  • Support and supervision of external supplier representatives
