About the Role

The Product Manager will be responsible for the complete management of the designated product line, including product development, sales support & training, promotional activities, revenue forecasting, inventory and operations performance, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain assigned product line to reflect customer/market needs, new business opportunities, and cost improvements.
  • Own the new product development (NPD) funnel for assigned product line.
  • Support commercial activities including field visits, marketing liaison for product launches, industry event participation, and training support.
  • Support marketing collateral development, including catalogs, sell sheets, product bulletins, training videos, and campaigns.
  • Own product line metrics, including revenue growth, gross margin, service levels, and E&O management.
  • Participate in sales and operations planning (S&OP/SIOP) to share product forecasts.
  • Conduct market research to understand growth prospects, propose new markets/verticals, and analyze product line outlook.
  • Participate in strategic planning for market share growth, profitability, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Manage product lifecycle, updates, and end-of-life strategies.
  • Manage pricing, configurator, and quote tools initiatives.
  • Manage business operations information, including inventory requirements, product structure/hierarchies, forecasting, and vitalities.
  • Perform other similar and related duties as required.

Requirements

  • BS in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in marketing, engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic, structured cabling, or data center connectivity markets is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Close attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent project management skills, including developing and managing project plans, establishing priorities, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to interface cross-functionally with appropriate responsiveness to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Collaborative and inclusive skillsets to foster trust and open communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Effective listening skills to extract necessary information and validate understanding.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and identify new ways to serve them by translating VOC insights into roadmap priorities and new product opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to inform product strategy, prioritization, and roadmap decisions.
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of various functional business areas.
  • Proficiency in negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Highly motivated and driven with a strong capacity to complete projects/tasks without direct oversight.
