About the Role

Peloton is seeking a Manager, Production Operations to lead technical production operations across live and recorded programming. This role is responsible for building a consistent, scalable operating model that supports high-quality execution across all productions, shifts, and teams. The ideal candidate will lead Supervisors and frontline operational structures, drive standardization across workflows, strengthen resource planning, and partner cross-functionally to ensure productions run smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role requires strong live production fluency, including hands-on multi-camera directing and technical directing experience in live or recorded production environments. It is ideal for a leader who can balance day-to-day operational oversight with long-term process improvement, team development, and organizational clarity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations across all shifts, ensuring productions run to schedule and teams execute smoothly and consistently.
  • Lead daily team operations through clear communication, structured oversight, and consistent execution standards.
  • Lead Supervisors as people leaders, building clear structure, accountability, and strong performance standards across the team.
  • Create and maintain scalable workflows, standard operating procedures, and operating frameworks that support consistency across productions.
  • Define escalation protocols and ensure issues are resolved consistently, with trends reviewed to inform operational improvements.
  • Own scheduling strategy in partnership with the Global Production Scheduling Team, ensuring effective shift planning, PTO coverage, and operational efficiency.
  • Build structured training programs that strengthen supervisor capability and improve consistency in team leadership and execution.
  • Lead hiring and performance management for Supervisors and Assistant Production Directors, supporting team growth and long-term capability building.
  • Monitor quality and operational performance trends, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes that strengthen execution.
  • Coordinate across departments to remove blockers, improve communication, and strengthen end-to-end production workflows.
  • Partner with Studio Operations to ensure studio readiness, operational uptime, and seamless support for productions.
  • Manage relationships with mid-level stakeholders and ensure communication standards are clear, consistent, and effective across teams.
  • Optimize tools, workflows, and team processes, driving adoption and continuous improvement across Production Operations.
  • Analyze operational trends and report performance insights, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Provide steady control room leadership during live and recorded productions, supporting clear communication, timely decision-making, and consistent execution under active show conditions.
  • Build consistency across all productions through strong systems, standards, and execution.
  • Develop scalable workflows and SOPs that support operational excellence as the business grows.
  • Lead Supervisors as managers and decision-makers, not just operators.
  • Drive efficiency, quality, accountability, and cross-functional alignment across Production Operations.
  • Ensure strong technical execution across multi-camera and live production environments.
  • Strengthen control room leadership, decision-making, and communication standards during active productions.
  • Ensure production operations run consistently and effectively without dependency on individual team members.
  • Ensure Supervisors lead autonomously, make strong decisions, and manage performance with confidence.
  • Ensure teams operate within a clear structure, with strong training, communication, and accountability.
  • Ensure SOPs and workflows are documented, adopted, and continuously improved.
  • Ensure operational quality, efficiency, and readiness improve over time through better planning, leadership, and execution.
  • Ensure technical production execution is consistent, reliable, and aligned across live and recorded programming.
  • Ensure control room decision-making is clear, timely, and effective during active productions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in operations management, ideally within a live broadcast, studio, or technical production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-camera directing and technical directing in live or recorded production environments.
  • Demonstrated control room leadership, with sound judgment under live show conditions and the ability to make clear, timely decisions during active productions.
  • Strong technical production background and understanding of live production workflows.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to participate meaningfully in production discussions, troubleshoot operational issues, and partner effectively with technical teams.
  • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to build structure, improve workflows, and lead operational change.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
  • Experience developing teams through coaching, training, performance management, and clear accountability.
