About the Role
Seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to serve as elementary school summer camp counselors for an upcoming summer program. Responsible for supervising and engaging a group of children in various activities and programs, ensuring a safe, fun, and educational experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in a variety of activities and programs.
- Implement and lead age-appropriate activities, including games, sports, and arts and crafts.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment for all campers.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and games.
- Provide guidance and support to campers to ensure they have a positive experience.
- Communicate with parents and guardians as needed.
- Assist with camp set-up and take-down as needed.
- Attend all training and staff meetings.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have experience working with children.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be enthusiastic, responsible, and reliable.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a child abuse clearance check.

- Must be able to stand, walk, and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- Often requires carrying, lifting, using repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally pushing, pulling, or bending.
