About the Role

Major League Baseball’s Japan office is seeking a seasonal intern to assist the Sponsorships Department with growing MLB’s business in the Japanese market. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in sports marketing, intellectual property, and sponsorships.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with potential sponsor research and analysis of sponsorship activations.
  • Deliver ideas and proposals for how potential and pre-existing clients can maximize their value from partnering with Major League Baseball.
  • Support the creation of proposals and reports, mainly through research, content collection, and translations.
  • Provide administrative assistance including shipping, taking phone calls, and general management of the office space.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university program eligible for a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Baseball fan strongly preferred.
  • English and Japanese language proficiency required.
