About the Role

The Operations Planner will execute US Logistics tasks related to escalations, inventory management for key KPIs, and customer intimacy, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through accountability, dedication, and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and process incoming emergency parts orders.
• Enter and execute administrative controls in the SAP system.
• Communicate directly with internal customers to ensure their needs are understood, communicated, and fulfilled.
• Follow up and monitor daily escalations through technical support.
• Serve as the main contact for the local CS Service organization and colleagues, providing supply chain expertise to drive optimal decisions.
• Drive the replenishment and allocation of parts.
• Analyze and review usage of local service and sales parts based on historical data and/or projected requirements, developing proposed stocking plans.
• Optimize spare part and tool planning mechanisms in the US, completing analysis for relevant machines and developing proposals for increased optimization.
• Monitor critical parts and influence stocking levels to ensure effective coverage.
• Ensure customer lead time and fill rate targets are met; analyze NAVs for root causes and corrective actions.
• Present relevant performance reporting to stakeholders.
• Initiate alignment with local CS and Account Team on the total demand plan (Service, FCO’s, Install, UF) and matching supply plan on different planning horizons (short-medium-long), including specifics on NPI’s.
• Improve cooperation between local and central logistics covering volume and NPI’s.
• Participate in strategic initiatives to optimize supply chain performance, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent; or equivalent years of working experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant field experience in a complex customer-oriented (logistics) environment.
• Experience in building good customer relationships to support their needs.
• Knowledge of business complexity, supply chain and/or relevant industry.
• Experience in defining and implementing new processes across the supply chain against agreed costs.
• Proven record with (continuous) improvement projects.
• Knowledge of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
• Advanced competencies in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ASML logistics procedures is preferred.
• Ability to observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work.
• Ability to learn and apply new information or skills.
• Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
