About the Role
You will own the on-prem compute (Foundation) product line, including the financial plan, commercial strategy, and results. This role involves translating engineering demand into a multi-year capacity and CapEx plan, leading hardware sourcing, and managing large-scale infrastructure commitments.
Responsibilities
- Own on-prem capacity planning by translating demand into server, rack, power, and space requirements.
- Develop the multi-year CapEx and OpEx plan for the Foundation line.
- Lead hardware and capacity sourcing, including OEM/VAR negotiations and supply-chain management.
- Structure large on-prem commitments such as colocation and hardware agreements.
- Manage the on-prem FP&A cycle, including AOP, reforecasts, and variance analysis.
- Partner with Datacenter, Production Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Procurement teams to execute infrastructure strategy.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in finance, infrastructure finance, or strategic finance.
- Demonstrated ability to structure and model large financial commitments.
- Strong structured-finance and quantitative modeling skills.
- Familiarity with on-prem infrastructure buildouts, including datacenter, hardware sourcing, and capacity planning.
- Proven track record of owning ambiguous, high-stakes decisions independently.
- Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
