About the Role
Community Dental Partners is seeking an Insurance Processor who enjoys interacting with people and providing an excellent patient experience. This role is primarily responsible for insurance verification and supporting patients, staff, and doctors.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients upon arrival
- Receive and perform a secondary check for accuracy on paperwork and insurance information
- Update patient status in the computer system
- Handle routine questions regarding appointments, policies, insurance, and treatments
- Verify insurance and frequencies
- Review the schedule in advance to ensure appointments and patients are due
- Confirm appointments the day before and the day of
- Reappoint examination appointments or refer other appointments to the appropriate person
- Back up the Greeter when needed
- Clean and maintain the front office area/lobby
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service is a plus
