About the Role

You will lead strategy and execution for a portfolio of new bets within our Merchant Services business, partnering deeply with product, engineering, and design to develop a vision for the future of ecommerce and the tactical steps to build solutions. You will report into a Sr Director and manage a team of direct & indirect reports.

Responsibilities

  • Build DoorDash’s next big business, from high-level strategy to operational details.
  • Develop a strategy to turn DoorDash into an indispensable partner to merchants' owned B2C and B2B ecommerce experiences.
  • Transform strategies into operational experiments that create measurable and actionable outcomes.
  • Assess the operational and financial impacts of decisions, balancing short and long-term trade-offs.
  • Work with a cross-functional team, including engineering, marketing, design, and product.
  • Lead and develop your own pod to build.

Requirements

  • Solve problems from first principles, resisting "this is how it’s always been done" thinking.
  • Operate comfortably at both high-level strategic thinking and detailed operational execution.
  • Thrive in ambiguous, startup environments with rapid change and learning.
  • Have 5+ years of experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Have 10+ years of overall experience.
  • Have experience building, managing, and going to market with B2B software products.
  • Understand how to price, go-to-market, and sell into large and small enterprises.
  • Be willing to travel cross-country 3-4 times per quarter on average.
