About the Role
Guidehouse's Capital Projects & Infrastructure team seeks experienced professionals with engineering and infrastructure delivery backgrounds, particularly those with deep expertise in project scheduling. Team members work across various industries and project types, supporting clients throughout the infrastructure lifecycle. A strong candidate will demonstrate mastery of project scheduling and controls, with a proven record of success leading client engagements and project teams. We are looking for a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, capable of managing complex scheduling efforts, mentoring junior staff, and driving results.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar.
- Leading client relationships, project teams, and internal staff.
- Client presentations and stakeholder engagement.
- Project scheduling and schedule analytics, including development, maintenance, and analysis of complex project schedules.
- Advanced schedule modeling and diagnostics, e.g. critical path method (CPM), float analysis, schedule compression, time-cost trade-offs, and change impact assessments.
- Construction project controls, e.g. schedule control, earned value, change management.
- Performance metrics and project reporting, including dashboard development and KPI tracking.
- Stakeholder engagement and coordination, e.g. facilitating alignment across owners, regulators, contractors, and community partners.
- Project technology and systems, e.g. deployment and use of scheduling tools, PMIS platforms, and delay quantification tools.
Requirements
- Five (5+) years of minimum experience.
- Degree from an accredited University.
- Extensive experience developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar.
- Experience leading client relationships, project teams, and internal staff.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel 50% or more, depending on client needs and project location.
- Must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
- US Citizenship restrictions may apply due to the nature of client engagements.
- Proven successful record of having led one or more of the following areas: Project scheduling and schedule analytics, Advanced schedule modeling and diagnostics, Construction project controls, Performance metrics and project reporting, Stakeholder engagement and coordination, Project technology and systems.
- Experience working in infrastructure-intensive industries (e.g., nuclear facilities, power or water utilities, transportation infrastructure, data centers, mining, and other infrastructure).
- Interest and aptitude for helping client agencies solve real-world business challenges.

- $113,000.00-$188,000.00
