About the Role
Episode Six is seeking a Platform Operations Specialist to join our growing fintech organization. You will play a key role in managing our cloud-native, API-based issuer processing and ledger infrastructure, supporting software releases, infrastructure maintenance, and client onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Perform software releases and infrastructure updates for PaaS instances and AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters
- Manage cloud infrastructure including RDS, load balancers, networking, and storage
- Maintain Linux and Windows servers
- Maintain SQL and NoSQL databases
- Support software development and testing activities
- Support client onboarding and migrations
- Conduct routine testing of system backups and disaster recovery plans
- Perform daily infrastructure monitoring and maintenance
- Create and maintain internal documentation
- Participate in a standard on-call rotation
Requirements
- 3+ years of AWS or other public cloud management experience
- 3+ years of Kubernetes cluster administration
- 3+ years of Linux O/S management experience
- 2+ years of experience using Python scripting
- Demonstrated infrastructure troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
