About the Role
As a Legal Intern at a global consulting firm, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of in-house counsel work, assisting with commercial contract reviews, corporate governance, litigation, employment law, and other legal matters. This hybrid role offers exposure to U.S. and global legal issues, reporting to the Senior Associate General Counsel.
Responsibilities
- Apply educational experience to solve real-world business problems.
- Conduct basic research and compile reports on operational and business management topics.
- Lead or support various projects with exposure to senior leadership.
- Help streamline and document operational processes to improve efficiency.
- Assist with day-to-day legal support activities, including reviewing and drafting contracts.
- Support analysis of contractual and other disputes.
- Review regulatory compliance requirements in specific areas.
- Organize case files and legal documents.
- Perform other administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school (1L, 2L, or 3L).
- Interest in understanding life as an in-house lawyer/legal function.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter who is results-oriented and exhibits intellectual curiosity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
- Web proficiency.
