About the Role

In this high-impact role, you’ll oversee tax accounting, compliance, audits, transfer pricing support, and indirect tax requirements, all while partnering closely with global and local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Canadian corporate tax compliance for all Teva Canada legal entities
  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions (current & deferred)
  • Support global consolidation and ensure alignment with US GAAP and global reporting standards
  • Lead and coordinate corporate tax audits
  • Engage with CRA and other tax authorities
  • Manage information requests and resolve audit matters efficiently
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and other internal teams to gather and validate financial data
  • Work with external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Provide tax guidance on business initiatives, intercompany agreements, financing structures, and IP transactions
  • Support annual transfer pricing documentation and financial data review
  • Ensure adherence to global transfer pricing policies
  • Oversee indirect tax compliance and provide guidance on sales tax matters
  • Participate in domestic and cross-border tax planning initiatives
  • Analyze tax implications of business activities and transactions
  • Contribute to projects related to evolving tax legislation and regulatory changes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant tax experience (public accounting and/or multinational corporate tax)
  • Experience preparing and reviewing complex income tax provisions under US GAAP
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with corporate tax reporting software and Microsoft Office
  • CPA designation
  • Completion of CICA In-Depth Tax (Levels I–III)
  • Experience in transfer pricing and indirect tax
  • Working knowledge of SAP and OneSource Tax Provision
  • Exposure to Alteryx
  • Understanding of business principles in the generic pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience working with CRA audit teams

  • $101,840-$127,300
