About the Role
We are building the future of mobility with Level 4 autonomous technology in Germany, aiming to create Europe's first certifiable system. Our in-house AI and expert team are leading this transformation.
Responsibilities
- Track the entire PR lifecycle, collaborate with contributors, monitor review statuses, and manage merge queues.
- Conduct technical PR reviews for critical code in sensor interfaces, robotics pipelines, ROS2 packages, and middleware integrations.
- Maintain branching strategy compliance, oversee issue tracking, handle tagging, lead release preparation, and ensure repository hygiene.
- Monitor and maintain build pipelines, troubleshoot failures, coordinate fixes, and support Docker/Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Proactively identify interface mismatches, resolve dependency issues, and eliminate integration blockers across teams.
- Streamline reviews and coordination by applying understanding of hardware-facing software, communication stacks, and deployment constraints.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Robotics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in robotics software, system integration, or embedded software environments.
- Solid development skills in C++ within Linux environments.
- Practical, hands-on experience with the ROS2 ecosystem and robotics software integration workflows.
- Deep familiarity with Git-based development, advanced PR review processes, CI/CD workflows, Docker, and automated build systems.
- Strong understanding of sensor integration, middleware concepts, distributed software systems, and standard robotics pipelines (perception, localization, control interfaces).
- Understanding of communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, SPI, I2C, UART).
- Prior exposure to Embedded systems or RTOS.
- Experience navigating and aligning goals within multi-team or cross-functional environments.
