About the Role
FAIRR seeks an analyst to support investor, company, and stakeholder engagement on protein transition. This role involves developing research and data to demonstrate the financial materiality of protein diversification, including market research, monitoring innovation, and tracking policy developments.
Responsibilities
- Support company- and industry-level research, focusing on sustainability outcomes and financial impacts.
- Assist with activities and administrative tasks for FAIRR’s Protein Diversification Engagement.
- Contribute to the development of FAIRR’s company assessment frameworks.
- Monitor scientific advances, write updates, and communicate findings to investor audiences.
- Expand internal databases on policy, company activities, investments, and technology developments.
- Build relationships with alternative protein companies and grow engagement.
- Coordinate and support responses to policy consultations.
- Organize events related to protein diversification and food technology.
- Contribute to special projects and team activities to ensure alignment between Research & Engagement and Policy teams.
- Represent FAIRR at external events and conferences in responsible investment and food technology.
Requirements
- Excellent qualitative and quantitative research and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to identify trends in large datasets and derive conclusions.
- Strong project management skills, including managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in scoping, tracking projects, and managing resources within time constraints.
- Experience interacting with business professionals and engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
- Understanding of responsible investment and shareholder engagement activities.
- Understanding of the alternative protein industry and relevant technologies.
- Experience organizing events and professionally coordinating with stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and communicate verbally and in writing.
- Proactive attitude with a confident and professional demeanor when dealing with senior business professionals.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Office 365.
- Willingness to attend calls in different time zones outside normal working hours.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences and events (less than 10% of the time).
