About the Role
We are looking for a Prep Cook to join our Culinary team, ensuring consistent high-quality food and customer service. This role involves the timely and accurate preparation of cold food items, assisting kitchen staff with production levels, managing leftovers, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting buffet setup/breakdown.
Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate preparation of cold food items for the line, pantry, and/or production area.
- Assisting kitchen staff in maintaining proper pars of production level estimates.
- Ensuring leftovers are used and properly stored.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and order of refrigerators and work areas.
- Ensuring proper food rotation.
- Assisting with the set-up and breakdown of buffets.
- Correctly filling out production charts.
Requirements
- Excited to start or take the next step in a hospitality career.
- Keen eye for detail and a passion for food.
- Comfortable working with industrial equipment and manual labor.
- Ability to be on your feet for an entire shift.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
