About the Role
The Compensation team leads compensation programs for Hasbro, impacting every employee globally. This role will partner closely with local HR teams and leaders to build and implement compensation programs, providing direction and strategic solutions for compensation matters considering business and HR priorities, market practices, and emerging trends.
Responsibilities
- Lead compensation programs including market benchmarking reviews, compensation planning, recognition programs, offer development, retention programs, and budget management.
- Advise and educate key business stakeholders, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition on compensation philosophy, including base, variable, sales, and equity compensation, as well as cyclical and ad-hoc compensation programs.
- Partner and collaborate with team members and client groups to understand organizational needs and prioritize accordingly, providing compensation insights to support strategic decisions.
- Proactively assess internal and external trends, relevant pay legislation, market intelligence, and potential impact to pay philosophy, including pay transparency projects.
- Provide consultation, mentoring, and sophisticated advice to HR Business Partners and business leaders.
- Partner with Finance teams to craft and develop incentive plans and support formal plan governance and oversight activities.
- Represent the customer's voice in the design of enterprise-wide pay programs and lead the design for client pay programs.
- Manage compensation programs and analyses with a high degree of autonomy, applying sound judgment while ensuring alignment with company guidelines and governance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree.
- Proven track record in compensation.
- Experience crafting, developing, and owning a variety of compensation programs and processes including base salary, variable pay programs, sales compensation, compensation strategy, and competitive pay analysis.
- Deep analytical skills with the ability to break down complex questions/data into well-structured analyses and synthesize key points.
- Forward-thinking with the ability to think end-to-end.
- Ability to influence and communicate with executive audiences.
- Skilled in building consultative partnerships.
- Proven experience in advising across regions, ideally with experience supporting both EMEA and APAC.
- Solid experience working in a matrix global organization, flexible in management style across various cultures and backgrounds.
