About the Role
SS&C is a leading financial services and healthcare technology company seeking a Senior Business Analyst to participate in project plan preparation using Scrum/Agile methodology, lead project lifecycle participants, and liaise between clients and internal development teams to ensure detailed requirements are understood and documented.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the preparation of project plans applying Scrum/Agile methodology
- Lead participants in the project life cycle from inception to production
- Liaise between our clients and internal development teams to ensure detailed requirements are understood and documented
- Facilitate the building or modifying of our applications to meet client and industry needs
- Engaging in new client launches, conversions, activation of products/functionality, and support of production issues
Requirements
- Experience with requirements analysis and requirements management tools and techniques
- Experience in various project methodologies within the software development life cycle
- Strong understanding of IT systems and architectures and the ability to communicate effectively with developers, architects, and QA.
- Capability to analyze and model end‑to‑end business processes and understand how technology enables or improves them.
- AS‑IS / TO‑BE process flows.
- Use of BPMN, UML, or similar modelling techniques
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to engage stakeholders across business, technology, and leadership levels.
- Adheres to software development standards, processes and best practices
- Canadian regulatory expertise
- Proficient knowledge of Canadian Mutual and Segregated funds market
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes, Agile methodologies (SCRUM), and Release/Change Management practices
- Exposure to enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and SharePoint
- Requires strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communications
- You need to be legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified above and, where applicable, must be able to provide a valid work or study permit, if selected for an interview.
