About the Role
DRW is seeking a Software Engineer with C++ expertise to join the Core Infrastructure team in London. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining DRW's global low-latency trading platform, focusing on order routing, market data, and risk systems.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining DRW's low latency trading platform
- Working on order routing, market data, and risk systems
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing high-availability systems in C++ with very tight resource/latency constraints
- Background in multi-threaded programming
- Strong understanding of hardware/software interaction
- Comfortable working "under the hood"
- Skilled in performance tuning (applications, Linux, socket I/O, etc.) and troubleshooting
- Experience working with C++ libraries like STL and Boost
- Up to date on C++23 standards
- Experience working on challenging projects such as building a custom compiler, writing a matching engine, or working with large amounts of data in real time
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
