About the Role

As Platform Associate at Point Nine, you will play a central role in supporting ambitious founders by building communities, connections, and meaningful experiences. This hands-on, operational role offers significant ownership and autonomy, ideal for someone passionate about startups, technology, and creating exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-value experiences for founders and community, online and offline.
• Plan and execute logistics for events, including Founder Summits, dinners, and masterclasses.
• Manage timelines, budgets, systems (CRM etc.), and founder onboarding.
• Build and maintain relationships with technology partners to benefit portfolio companies.
• Support founder communications and community storytelling across various channels.
• Identify and implement improvements to platform team systems and processes.
• Support the Director of Platform on broader projects and independently own initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and General Partners teams.

Requirements

• Genuine excitement about startups, technology, and the founder journey.
• Highly organized with strong operational skills and a proactive approach.
• Fast learner and generalist comfortable across diverse areas.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and high standards for execution.
• Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership in a distributed team.
• Ability to figure things out and move forward without constant direction.
• Several years of experience in a fast-paced environment (startups, VC, community, or operations).
• Enjoy being hands-on and operating close to founders and operators.
• Experience running events, managing partnerships, or building communities is a plus.
