About the Role
Join Big Mamma's kitchen team as a Pastry Demi Chef, preparing delicious desserts from scratch in a vibrant, high-energy environment. You will contribute to creating authentic Italian dishes and ensuring a memorable experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare desserts following Big Mamma recipes and quality standards
- Work alongside the Pastry Chef to help train new chefs
- Follow directions from kitchen management and support service prep
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
- Bring positive energy and a problem solving mindset to every shift
- Help create the best moment of our guests’ day
Requirements
- Previous experience or training as a Demi Pastry Chef
- Excellent knowledge of Italian desserts
- Experience in a busy service environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Skills
- Big smile and passion for Italian food
- Great energy, proactive attitude and team spirit
- Excellent teamwork, leadership and communication skills
