About the Role
As an SAP Planning Senior Consultant (w/m/x), you will play a central role in consulting, conceptualizing, and implementing modern planning and control solutions based on SAP technologies. You will work closely with business departments, IT departments, and project teams to design future-proof planning processes for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Consulting clients on the analysis, optimization, and digitalization of their planning processes.
- Implementing reporting/planning solutions based on business and technical requirements in SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Moderating workshops, presentations, and coordination meetings with business departments, IT, and management.
- Setting up and optimizing data connections, as well as performing customizing and configuration.
- Implementing error analyses, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Participating in test phases, deployments, and go-lives, as well as moderating workshops and presentations.
- Close collaboration with solution architects and development teams, as well as coordination with business departments.
Requirements
- Several years of practical experience in developing SAP planning solutions, with a focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.
- Sound knowledge in SAP BW/4HANA, and ideally S/4HANA (Embedded Analytics) or SAP Datasphere in the context of data integration and modeling.
- Very good understanding of scripting, technical extensions, and interface connections.
- Basic understanding of business processes - the focus is on technical implementation.
- Experience working with technical specifications and implementation guidelines.
- Structured team player with enormous initiative, analytical and solution-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
- Very good and fluent German and English language skills are required.
