About the Role

AKQA, part of WPP, is seeking a Senior Technical Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex digital and AI-enabled products. This role is crucial in evolving delivery practices, adopting new tools, and integrating AI into product development within a rapidly changing technology landscape. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to ensure technically sound, scalable solutions are delivered with a focus on product quality and real-world impact.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical and AI-enabled products.
Ensure solutions are well-architected, scalable, and built to a high standard.
Work closely with development, architecture, and design teams to shape and deliver product outcomes.
Translate product and technical requirements into clear, actionable delivery plans.
Manage scope, timelines, and budgets while maintaining a strong focus on product quality.
Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs across projects.
Drive collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Contribute to evolving delivery practices, including adoption of AI tools and new ways of working.

Requirements

Strong experience delivering complex digital products in a technical environment.
Understand modern architectures (e.g. composable, headless, cloud-based).
Experience with Agile delivery and iterative product development.
Ability to balance delivery discipline with product thinking and quality outcomes.
Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and bring clarity.
A genuine interest in AI and emerging technologies, and how they shape product delivery.
A focus on quality and impact, not just timelines and outputs.
