About the Role

CrowdStrike is seeking highly motivated, self-driven technical consultants to join our Services team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on global security by protecting organizations from advanced attackers. You will engage in a variety of assignments, including front-page incident response investigations for Fortune 100 companies, allowing you to expand your skill set and accelerate your career.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical lead on incident response engagements.
  • Develop and utilize new methods to hunt for malicious actors across large datasets.
  • Conduct intrusion investigations under the direction of outside counsel.
  • Perform host and/or network-based forensics on Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
  • Produce high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings for key stakeholders, including customer management, regulators, and legal counsel.
  • Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and public speaking events.

Requirements

  • Experience in Incident Response, including conducting or managing investigations for organizations and investigating targeted threats like Advanced Persistent Threat, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.
  • Background in Computer Forensic Analysis using various forensic tools to determine the extent and scope of compromise.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and network analysis tools (e.g., Bro/Zeek, Suricata), with the ability to perform analysis of associated network logs.
  • Ability to understand malware capabilities through static and dynamic analysis (Reverse Engineering).
  • Strong understanding of targeted attacks and ability to create customized tactical and strategic remediation plans for compromised organizations.
  • Strong understanding of secure network architecture and experience in performing network operations.
  • Knowledge of cloud incident response methodologies in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong ability to communicate findings at both executive and detailed levels to clients.
  • Ability to effectively communicate tasks, guidance, and methodology with internal teams.
  • Team leadership experience in a matrixed consulting environment.
  • Capability to complete technical tasks without supervision.
  • Desire to grow and expand both technical and soft skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.
  • Ability to travel on short notice, up to 30% of the time.
  • Speak and write Japanese at a minimum high business Japanese level.
