About the Role

As part of the Communications Team, you will support colleagues in the communicative preparation, execution, and follow-up of the Munich Security Conference 2027. This role involves supporting the creation and preparation of content for the MSC's social media channels, contributing to the management and content development of the MSC website and newsletter, and assisting in the planning, coordination, and publication of video and photo content. You will also work on communicative projects for MSC 2026, such as the MSC Creator Program or MSC Studios, and provide communicative support for other MSC events, publications, and formats in autumn and winter 2026/2027.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and preparation of content for the MSC's social media channels.
  • Assist in the management and content development of the MSC website and newsletter.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and publication of video and photo content.
  • Work on communicative projects for MSC 2026, such as the MSC Creator Program or MSC Studios.
  • Provide communicative support for other MSC events, publications, and formats in autumn and winter 2026/2027.

Requirements

  • Enjoy creating creative content and conceptualizing innovative formats.
  • Understand digital communication and current trends.
  • Interest in foreign and security policy, with good knowledge of current world events.
  • High resilience, strong hands-on mentality, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work precisely under pressure.
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Studying Political Science, Communication Science, Journalism, Marketing, History, or comparable fields.
