About the Role
Arcadis is seeking Ecologists to join their team in Sydney, contributing to the growth of a national ecology team. This role involves working on diverse projects, from large BDARs to smaller conservation efforts, and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical ecological advice and report deliverables on a range of complex projects.
- Conducting field-based data collection, surveys, and mapping, including threatened species surveys and PCT identification.
- Supporting the National Ecology Lead in business development to maintain a sustainable pipeline of work.
- Participating in proposals and enhancing brand awareness and ecological capabilities.
- Proactively managing projects or project components, ensuring quality assurance, and developing client relationships.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in ecology or a relevant degree.
- Knowledge of and experience in flora and/or fauna identification and assessment in NSW.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant post-graduate experience, including report delivery and project management.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing ecologists, and providing technical support.
