About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Field IT Member to join our Tokyo Head Office team. This role involves hands-on IT support, infrastructure management, and coordination with global teams to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Act as a point of escalation for end-users and coordinate with global IT teams to resolve complex issues.
- Enforce IT security protocols and ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies.
- Set up and support townhalls and high-profile meetings, including AV equipment and connectivity for senior executives.
- Oversee the lifecycle of IT assets including procurement, deployment, tracking, and disposal of hardware and mobile devices.
- Liaise with external vendors for hardware/software procurement, maintenance contracts, and service delivery.
- Manage and process invoices related to IT assets and network services, ensuring accuracy and timely approvals.
- Support Windows Autopilot provisioning and device staging processes to ensure smooth deployment and configuration of endpoints.
Requirements
- Native or business-level Japanese and English (spoken and written); JLPT N2 or above.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles.
- Familiarity with Japanese business culture and IT regulatory environment.
- Experience in multinational or large-scale IT operations.
- Exposure to ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms is a plus.
- Minimum 4–5 years in IT operations, infrastructure support, or technical service roles.
Skills
- Hands-on experience preferred; foundational knowledge acceptable in some areas.
