Responsibilities
- Support communication and day-to-day living for individuals with dual sensory impairment.
- Support individuals in their home and community environments.
- Use communication techniques to relay information.
- Empower individuals to participate in daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and house cleaning.
- Provide personal care as required, such as lifts and transfers, toileting, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
- Assist with developing and supporting individual goals and objectives.
- Assist with program development.
- Ensure documentation and records are complete.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid driver's license Class G.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- A clean current driver's abstract.
- Ability to obtain automobile insurance with a minimum liability of $2 million.
- Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand motion, possess good manual dexterity, and moderate stooping, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs to 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
Skills
- Communication in American Sign Language (ASL) or Signed Exact English (SEE).
- Excellent communication skills for both verbal and written English.

- Related human services field.
Salary/Compensations
- Starting at $23.49/hour
