About the Role

This role involves assisting with the timely delivery of Operational Due Diligence (ODD) reports and projects, working closely with other Associates and Consultants. Support and training will be provided, and the role may include future travel.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting initial and ongoing operational due diligence reviews of asset managers across various asset classes.
  • Producing high-quality ODD reports with clear, concise opinions.
  • Researching the middle and back office functions of investment managers.
  • Reviewing selected fund managers’ trading systems and pricing procedures.
  • Reviewing fund documentation including audited financial reports, internal controls reports, and fund legal documents.
  • Collating and assimilating data to respond to consultant and client queries.
  • Completing ODD reports in a timely manner, including submission and presentation to Voting Committee members.
  • Assisting on advisory client projects to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Working with client consulting teams on client queries and special consulting projects.
  • Supporting the generation of new business as part of the broader team.
  • Interviewing and evaluating investment managers for operational risk.
  • Supporting senior team members in providing first-class advice.
  • Directly contributing to clients’ success through applying technical expertise.
  • Contributing to the development of new tools and approaches.
  • Building relationships internally and collaborating effectively with other internal teams.
  • Demonstrating natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels.
