About the Role

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with diverse needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Provide patient care in-office, testing centers, and through occasional telehealth visits.
• Engage in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
• Collaborate with in-office and virtual clinical teams.
• Utilize specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures.
• Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues.
• Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care in additional states as needed.

Requirements

• Enrolled in or completed an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting.
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Board Eligible with plans to obtain certification within 1 year.
• State licensed in Texas before the start date.
• Passion for human-centered primary care.
• Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds.
• Ability to effectively use technology for high-quality care.
• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
• Desire to be an integral part of a team changing healthcare delivery.
• Openness to feedback and reflection.
• Ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations.
• Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs.
