About the Role
Guest Services Staff will act as the primary provider of direct services to guests within a venue, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment from entry to exit. This role involves a variety of customer service duties performed in an expert, professional, and friendly manner.
Responsibilities
- Answer guest questions and provide directions to venue areas.
- Operate coat check rooms according to established guidelines.
- Scan tickets for entry and administer appropriate wristbands.
- Greet guests and resolve complaints, escalating issues as needed.
- Monitor guest conduct to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Monitor alcohol consumption to prevent underage drinking and ensure responsible consumption.
- Seat guests and assist patrons with disabilities.
- Enforce all venue policies and procedures.
- Complete all required trainings and participate in employee meetings.
- Act as a member of the emergency evacuation team, directing guests during emergencies.
- Monitor the venue during guest arrival and exit to comply with safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management and Supervisors.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Ability to work in varying conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Positive attitude with superior customer service skills.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for long periods.
- Previous experience working in events is preferred.
- Knowledge of the music industry is preferred.
