Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of patient care, ensuring pet comfort and well-being within the scope of state law.
• Engage in continuous learning to build veterinary knowledge within a supportive team.
• Maintain accurate records, support ethical practices, and foster trust with clients and teammates.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and DVMs for smooth clinic operations and excellent patient care.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues through active listening and thoughtful questioning.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a veterinary assistant or in a related role.
• Strong understanding of veterinary processes.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond for patients and teammates.
• Proactive and adaptable attitude with the ability to assist in various clinic operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and a growth mindset.
