About the Role
Geotab is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support strategic partner success through the ownership and management of technical processes, account oversight, and project execution. This role requires ownership of initiatives that ensure efficient partner onboarding, data validation, and streamlined reporting. Responsibilities
- Manage account-level administration, including validating data requests, maintaining accurate partner and customer account records, and supporting enrollment workflows.
- Develop reports, presentations, and documentation to inform and drive decision-making.
- Manage the distribution of enablement materials and work with Partner Account Managers (PAMs), resellers, and key stakeholders to increase product adoption and partner engagement.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of partner/customer records within Salesforce, overseeing data validations and processing partner data requests.
- Maintain detailed OEM opportunity tracking.
- Generate and present compelling, data-driven insights for senior leadership to recommend strategic decisions and optimize partner engagement.
- Act as the primary project leader for technical integrations and go-to-market initiatives with OEM partners.
- Own the strategy and execution of key industry events and sales initiatives, including defining goals, managing logistics, and measuring ROI.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for complex partner and customer escalations, consulting with stakeholders and internal support teams for timely resolutions.
- Plan and lead subject matter expert (SME) meetings, including content development, agenda building, and participant engagement.
- Act as a key liaison with operations and marketing teams to manage launch timelines, track deliverables, and ensure alignment with product release schedules.
- Develop, create, maintain, and distribute comprehensive marketing, sales, and training materials that articulate the business value of OEM partner solutions.
- Collaborate with PAMs and resellers to drive engagement and adoption of OEM programs.
- Maintain internal resources, including team wikis and documentation repositories, ensuring access to up-to-date promotional material, presentations, and resources.
- Deliver white-glove onboarding support to high-profile customers and partners, ensuring a seamless experience during enrollment and ramp-up.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Project Management/Inventory Management/Technical Sales.
- Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and competing priorities simultaneously, even under pressure and with fast-changing deadlines.
- Exhibits high accuracy and meticulous attention to detail, complemented by excellent proofreading abilities.
- Commands excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- A strong team player with the ability to build and maintain robust interpersonal relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
- Leads by example and serves as a primary escalation point for complex issues from team members, management, and clients.
- Deeply understands customer business needs, focusing on delivering solutions that address their challenges and drive mutual success.
- Technically competent with essential business software programs, including advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) for reporting and collaboration.
- Operates with an entrepreneurial spirit, thriving in a flat organizational structure and adapting quickly to evolving priorities and environments.
- Must have a reliable internet connection with at least 50mb DL/10mb UL when working from home.
