About the Role
Challenger School is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a music teacher at our Avery Ranch campus. Music is a vital part of Challenger’s proven curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Teach children music concepts such as rhythm, singing, recognition, interpretation, movement, and dance.
- Work with multiple grade levels.
- Plan and direct the music for the annual Christmas Sing and Spring Program events.
- Thoroughly learn Challenger’s curriculum, teaching methods, and philosophy.
- Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment.
- Assist teachers in multiple classes with music curriculum and concepts.
- Work patiently with students, parents, and coworkers.
Requirements
- 2 years of college education or equivalent classic music training and experience in music, voice, and piano.
- Proficiency in piano accompaniment and voice delivery techniques.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Completion of pre-employment assessments.
