About the Role
Long View is seeking an ambitious and results-focused Account Executive for our Toronto office who has experience selling Hybrid IT solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide Cloud and Modern Workplace solutions leveraging O365, and infrastructure technology domain knowledge including hardware and software stack with the relevant attached services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key client stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of IT projects, meeting client expectations and deadlines.
- Advise clients on best practices for optimizing their IT infrastructure, including cloud solutions, data management, network design, security, and IT systems integration.
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing accounts, cross-sell and upsell additional services, and support the growth of the company's client base.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and scope changes, ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Ensure clear, consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Provide detailed reporting on project progress, account status, and performance metrics, both internally and to clients.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure alignment between client needs and the company's offerings.
- Develop account plans to align client goals with company offerings.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to provide strategic advice to clients.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in account management, or client services in the IT consulting or professional services sector.
- Proven experience in managing client accounts in managed and professional services, cloud services, Microsoft and Cisco stack and/or technology consulting.
- Experience with solution-based selling’ and proven success in areas like IT Security, Azure Services, Copilot AI, Data & Dynamics 365, Managed IT Services.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics CRM required
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts, including cloud computing, networks, security, storage solutions, and enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with ITIL, ITSM, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile), and enterprise technology solutions.
- Effective presentation skills, strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients (Ontario and Eastern Canada).
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in the IT consulting industry or a related field is highly desirable.
