About the Role
The Women’s Assistant Lacrosse Coach will provide assistance and support for a comprehensive, high-quality NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse program. This role involves daily and/or weekly duties requiring discretion and independent judgment, with approximately 75% instructional and 25% recruitment/administrative activities. This is a part-time, 10-month position.
Responsibilities
- Assist program in compliance with all applicable NCAA, conference, and institutional policies, rules, and regulations.
- Assist with timely submission of all compliance-related workflows through ARMS.
- Maintain up-to-date certification in all required areas.
- Assist with all budget requests, documentation, receipts, and related forms and paperwork.
- Assist in leading and supporting College Enrollment Management priorities through partnership, participation, and meeting goals.
- Assist the department with its gender equity planning and the satisfaction of all Title IX legislation.
- Assist with responding to all requests for information from prospective student-athletes, coaches, parents, and friends.
- Assist with soliciting and distributing information to eligible prospective student-athletes and coaches or parents/friends.
- Assist with developing and distributing appropriate recruiting materials, publications, and information.
- Assist with maintaining accurate and comprehensive recruiting records of all prospective student athletes.
- Participate on committees and attend College functions/events.
- Participate with department committees to develop, evaluate, and enhance department policy.
- Attend all departmental meetings.
- Assist with providing appropriate academic support, assistance, motivation, and environment for student-athletes.
- Become familiar with appropriate academic resource and assistance programs available to student-athletes.
- Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes from current class work to graduation.
- Understand current institutional academic standards and policies.
- Assist with working with appropriate personnel to determine needs for organization, coordination, and scheduling of all home and away contests.
- Submit all paperwork, schedule meetings, and respond to all information requests from athletic trainers and team physicians.
- Coordinate with Head Strength/Conditioning Coach on the conduct of a comprehensive training program.
- Respond to all information requests and work with the media.
- Inform the head of Athletic Communications when you or any of your athletes has been contacted by the media.
- Assist with fund-raising activities, paying particular attention to NCAA legislation surrounding booster groups and donors.
- Reconcile all revenues and deposits in accordance with institutional and departmental policy.
- Assist with identifying and cultivating a community partnership with a service-based organization.
- Attend and participate in conferences if assigned by head coach.
- Demonstrate and role-model all of Le Moyne’s mission-based competencies.

- Perform a variety of related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of progressive experience in the conduct of a collegiate level women’s lacrosse program with proven success in recruiting high quality student athletes and/or equivalent related experiences.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply NCAA and NEC conference rules as they pertain to the women’s lacrosse program.
- Must possess a valid, current U.S. driver’s license.
- Must have reliable transportation or the ability to rent a vehicle when needed to travel to recruiting sites.
- May need to drive campus vehicles for local events.
