About the Role
Responsible for operating molding presses and related equipment to produce quality products.
Responsibilities
- Operate molding presses.
- Load and unload raw materials and parts.
- Monitor and adjust machine instrumentation.
- Weight out materials, trim/adjust material size and/or weight.
- Ensure proper housekeeping by clearing and cleaning workspace.
- Complete all paperwork pertaining to production neatly and correctly following all quality standards.
- Perform visual checks of the molded parts.
- Monitor, record, and report all scrap.
- Meet production targets.
- Perform inspection of machine to identify potential malfunctions.
- Follow all Vaupell policies, standard operating procedures, and safety practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma/general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience, training, and education.
- Ability to read, speak, understand, and follow instructions in English.
- Capable of using basic hand tools.
- Comprehension of basic math, including fractions, decimals, averages, and percentages.
- Must be able to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment.
- Must be a "US Person" (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) for ITAR and EAR compliance.
