About the Role

RES is seeking a Project Manager III to lead complex restoration projects with full autonomy. This role involves overseeing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors, navigating regulatory frameworks, and driving high-quality delivery from planning to close-out, with a focus on strategic thinking and boots-on-the-ground impact.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors.
  • Navigate regulatory frameworks.
  • Drive high-quality project delivery from planning to close-out.
  • Manage scope, risk, and timelines using RES’s PM Best Practices.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and monitor progress.
  • Report on budget performance and percent complete.
  • Communicate with regulators.
  • Adjust plans due to unexpected site conditions.
  • Present updates to clients.
  • Mentor junior staff and help build a stronger, smarter PM team.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in applied sciences, engineering, or construction (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 10 years of experience in environmental, restoration, or construction-related fields.
  • 6+ years of direct project management experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management tools and documentation practices.
  • Strong background in regulatory processes and permit management.
  • Experience managing budgets, subcontractors, schedules, and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage risk, scope, and client expectations.
  • Demonstrated success using PM Best Practices (Charters, Risk Registers, BMPs).
  • Ability to mentor junior PMs or lead project teams across departments.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, forecasting, and project margin tracking.
