About the Role
The Academic Program Manager will lead a global program to increase student access to and proficiency with Emerson T&M engineering tools, preparing the next generation of test engineers and scientists. This role builds the infrastructure to make Emerson T&M platforms teachable, supportable, and deployable across engineering curricula worldwide without increasing faculty burden.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global Academic Adoption Program strategy, key initiatives, and operating model to achieve scalable student adoption outcomes.
- Build scalable program infrastructure for global reuse and regional execution, including leading the development and rollout of core global initiatives like the Student Ambassador Program.
- Develop plans for student enablement that align academic workflows with real-world test and measurement practices, including AI-augmented learning.
- Partner with regional Academic Adoption Leads and Regional Academic Business Managers to align global programs with regional university plans and resource needs.
- Build long-term faculty champions and ecosystem partnerships at target universities.
- Track program impact, student reach, adoption metrics, and report outcomes to leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years in academic programs, engineering education, product adoption, or technical program leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in related engineering majors.
- Strong understanding of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) education and/or test & measurement workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale global, cross-functional programs.
- Experience managing global stakeholders, priorities, and ambiguity.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
