Produce small to medium size precision machined parts by operating computer numerical control (CNC) lathes, milling machines and bridgeports.

Loads, operates, cleans and maintains CNC machines and other shop equipment.
Ensures parts are made to specification to achieve customer satisfaction.
Verifies settings by measuring specifications on work pieces.
Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting operations.
Takes measurements, detects malfunctions, troubleshoots processes, and adjusts/reprograms controls.
Maintains accurate quality records and documentation.
Follows all established Vaupell policies, standard operating procedures and safety practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED.
1 year plus job-specific experience.
Basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to read, speak, understand and follow instructions in English.
Must be able to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment.
Must be a “US Person” (US Citizen or Permanent Resident) for ITAR and EAR compliance.
