About the Role

Assist and be responsible for drying out and cleaning homes damaged by water and flooding. This includes setting up drying equipment, extracting wet flooring, and performing light demolition of affected materials. The role requires a good attitude, professional work practices, and a desire to help people in need. Be advised, this is not a Monday to Friday, 9 – 5 job! Some after-hours and weekends shifts will be required.

Responsibilities

Perform water extraction and removal of water damaged materials.
Follow written procedures for emergency services.
Move affected household items.
Set up and monitor drying equipment.
Apply antimicrobial and cleaning products.
Keep job sites clean and professional.

Requirements

Be available for routine on-call rotational emergency services, weekend and after-hours work.
Participate in demolition, remediation, cleaning, packing, and moving.
Be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe job site.
Follow written production procedures.
Complete and track job paperwork, timecards, checkout forms, and vehicle records daily.
Maintain and clean equipment.
Perform carpet cleaning.
Other duties as assigned by the Mitigation Manager.
Possess reliable personal transportation; jobs will not be on the bus line.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Pass a background check and drug screening.
Routinely lift heavy items up to 50lbs.
Be comfortable working in confined areas such as crawlspaces and attics.
Be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays (flexible rotating schedule).
Have a high level of listening skills and a positive attitude.
Be punctual and reliable.
